Experience it for yourself
The latest H-D® models are touring the UK, offering you the chance to step into the saddle and get a taste for yourself
The distinctive rumble of a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle turns heads wherever it roams; have you ever looked round to see different model and thought, I wish I could give that one a go? This is exactly what the H-D Experience Tour can provide – supported by local Harley Owners Group® chapters and without the formality of walking into a dealership.
Throughout the summer, the H-D Experience Tour is travelling the UK and Ireland, bringing the newest models to your doorstep at some great venues. So far, it’s been to the Kickback Show in Worcestershire, Baffle Haus: Old Post in Wales and the new Harley-Davidson headquarters in Oxfordshire.
Black Mountains Chapter came out to support at the Baffle Haus and took the opportunity to make an occasion of it by presenting their newest road captain, Paul Henderson, with his rocker patch. “Being part of the H.O.G.® family is an exceptional experience, where you meet so many riders from all walks of life,” says Black Mountains Chapter Director Mike Morris.

“Being part of the road crew for the day made us all feel so special and welcomed,” he added. “A few of us took the opportunity to test ride the bikes and I found it very enjoyable. Paul tried the Street Glide® and was very impressed with the handling and how much lighter it is. Lee Kellaway, our head road captain, tried out the Pan America™ and found it a lot lower – he was impressed with the improvements from the older models.”
Welsh Dragon Chapter also came out in support and both chapters helped to run test rides every hour – all you have to do is register and turn up with your licence. H-D staff were on hand to manage registrations, then the road crew provided a safety briefing before setting off along a 40-minute route through the Welsh countryside.
“Against tradition for Wales, the weather was glorious for the weekend,” reports Welsh Dragon Chapter Director Steve Link. “The weekend was a great success: the venue was buzzing with people and most of the test rides were fully booked. On the Saturday, a newly licenced rider approached the team, nervous about test riding. She had a good talk with them and booked a test ride, but was still very nervous when the day came.
“Andrew Torres, our assistant head road captain, offered to take her out one-to-one instead. The test ride went very well and the lady was so grateful for the support. I believe she is now looking to purchase a new Harley® as soon as possible!”

Over on home turf, the Oxford Chapter came out to the Bee House in Milton Park to help run the rides. “Over the last few years, I’ve helped out at a number of these events, so when we were asked to run the ride-outs this year I was delighted to say ‘yes’!” reveals Oxford Chapter Director Bridey Dyer. “The weather was kind, with some lovely sunshine in the afternoons, contributing to two busy days of bikers coming to try the 2025 models.
“The Bee House provided the perfect location, with much needed refreshments, and many riders stuck around to try two or even three different bikes. It was great chatting to everyone; we seemed to draw an extraordinary array of riders, from the experienced to beginners, all keen to try a Harley – many of them for the first time! Even my road crew took advantage of the opportunity if there was a spare model to take out, with the Street Glide and Pan America seemingly the favourites. These models have vastly different looks and riding styles, demonstrating the range of bikes Harley-Davidson offers. I only need to look at the road crew to be reminded of the great choice out there, and it was such fun to be able to share our love for the brand with bikers who mostly don’t already ride Harleys.”
Among the models available for test rides are the 2025 all-new Street Glide Ultra and Pan America ST, alongside the Fat Boy®, Street Bob®, Breakout®, Heritage Classic, Low Rider® S and Low Rider ST. The H-D Experiene Tour has five more locations lined up for the season, rounding off at Thunder in the Glens in August.
