Harley Night a blazing success
On 14 March, Harley-Davidson dealerships across the country held the ultimate season launch event showcasing new models, music and as many burgers as you could throw on a barbecue! Two dealerships give their verdicts on Harley Night…

West Coast Harley-Davidson, Glasgow
Around 400 guests rolled into the dealership for a night that mixed full-throttle energy with serious style. “It was the perfect mix of an evening party, fashion event and garage hangout,” says David Hackshall, Dealer Principal at West Coast Harley-Davidson. “The atmosphere was buzzing! This was an indoor version of our regular Glasgow Bike Night and it really hit the mark.”
The event brought a bold, fresh twist to the usual pre-season opener, combining live music, DJ sets and a slick clothing showcase with a standout moment: the unveiling of the VR1000 build, presented by the man who built it – Harley-Davidson Technical Manager, Gavin Cupit.
Alongside this big reveal, three 2025 Harley-Davidson models fresh from the Scottish Motorcycle Show were on display: the Street Glide® Ultra, Low Rider® ST and Fat Boy®.
“People absolutely loved seeing the new models. We gave each one a 360-degree walk-through,” says David.
The Clyde Valley H.O.G.® Chapter directed visitors to available parking and ran a charity barbecue that raised more than £1,000.
With 300 burgers gone in record time and the venue packed wall-to-wall, even the event’s organiser was surprised by the turnout. “To be honest, the attendance blew us away!” he admits.
Looking ahead, David has just one tweak in mind: “Next time, I’d like to have more custom bikes displayed in the workshop. But honestly, the whole event was a resounding success. The concept gave us a clear point of difference from previous season kick-offs and the response has been phenomenal.”

Sycamore Harley-Davidson, Uppingham, Rutland
Sycamore Harley-Davidson enjoyed a laid-back launch, bringing together around 150 enthusiasts for an evening of bikes, barbecue and good vibes.
Held inside the showroom, it struck the perfect balance between party and pit stop, with live music setting the tone and a sizzling barbecue fuelling the fun. “It was a casual party night,” says General Manager Steve Jollands. The highlight? “Just seeing so many people enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.”
The star attractions were, of course, the bikes. Guests were eager to get a look at the latest models, including the CVO® Pan America®, two Softails and a Tourer. “People couldn’t wait to take the new demos out,” says Steve.
Help came from the dealership’s own Rutland H.O.G.® Chapter, alongside members of the orphan Nene Valley H.O.G. Chapter. “We like to support them,” says Steve. Together, the chapters kept things running smoothly and added a strong community spirit to the event. The evening was a hit and proved once again that when Harley riders gather, it’s always a good time. With the new riding season now officially in full swing, the Sycamore team is ready to keep the momentum rolling.
